Hi! I’m Shaylen. And here is my profile. I’ve finally updated it (I know, about damn time right?). So here’s the part where I tell you a bit about myself. I am a mother of two little girls. I am also just entering the world of modeling. My primary focuses in life are my girls, creating art, and just being confident. As far as my girls go, I want them to know that they can do what they dream (if they work hard enough for it) and to always know that they are beautiful just the way they are. In a way, I guess you could say I’m trying to inspire them, while inspiring myself at the same time. As far as modeling goes, I didn’t really think I was a photogenic person. I’ve met some people in the past year that have obviously proved me wrong.

When it comes to being a model, I do what it takes to get a great picture. I am willing to do just about anything as long as it doesn’t involve bodily harm. I also don’t want to look like a trashy porn star. I have done many nudes, and yes there is a difference between artistic nudes and porn. None of the photos I have are pornographic. I have done other shoots where I am clothed and I am willing to do more. I have also done shoots with other models, and I know I work well with others. Being a nude model is an experience you can’t describe in enough words. To sum it up, I suppose you could say that yes, you are vulnerable and everybody can see what you feel are your flaws. But there is a certain beauty that shines through when you are in this natural state. And sometimes those flaws are your strength.

I take extreme lengths to get great art. I am open minded to anything you have to offer. Basically, I am interested in what I can see through your eyes. So if you’ve got an idea that you would like to share or work with me on, bring it on. Let’s see what you can do, and I’ll do the same. I am capable of many different looks and expressions. If you have a different view of me, that transforms my current appearance, please feel free to share. Like I said, I’m versatile.

When it comes to working with photographers, I am open to work with any photographer. I will never exclude the photographers I have worked with in the past. I have made many friends and mentors by taking this route in life, and learned so much from them. That, my friends is priceless, and it is a situation that is set in stone.

If you would like me to travel to remote areas to do a shoot, I would be happy to. When it comes down to the traveling arrangements and food, room and board, we will discuss these expenses, once they arise. If I am going to remote areas, I need advance notice of at least 72 hours, and we will also discuss my pay rate, if you would like me as a model.

In the mean time, I look forward to creating great friendships and professional relationships with you. I would like to see what kind of ideas you have, and I will make sure that all parties involved are happy with the results. Other than that, let’s have fun with this. Let’s make some awesome art!
