Photographically my inspirations would be Dean Collins, Ansel Adams (isn't he on everyone's list?) and Monte Zucker. Sadly, none of those artists are with us anymore but they live on through the thousands they have inspired and touched through their great art. I have had the pleasure to meet many great photographers on various web sites and in local get togethers. I am humbled by each and everyone of them and marvel at the work they all produce. To all of them I say thank you for sharing.

About Me
Hi all. Thanks for taking a few minutes to check out my little page. First the boring details no one really cares about. I am an experienced photographer with 30 plus years of shooting behind me. I started shooting with the old Kodak Instamatics, Poloroids, 35mm and medium format, all film. I made the switch 6 years ago to digital and haven't looked back since.
I am not nor do I claim to be an expert model photographer. I won't tell you I can get you paying gigs if you shoot with me or that I have contacts that can. The only thing I can tell you is I will get you good solid images that perhaps can get you noticed by someone that can deliver on those afore mentioned items. My background has been in portrait and event photography. You will definitely see that come through in the model portfolios that I shoot. One thing that I am very proud of is the fact that almost every single girl (and guys) that I have shot have come back for additional shoots with me because they had such an enjoyable experience on their first shoot and they loved their images.
I make it a point to talk with the model prior to shooting to get a feel for what images she or he would like to get out of the shoot, what their comfort levels are and any ideas or story lines they would like to try. I love collaborating with models on photo sessions. I get great pleasure from talking together about ideas we each have and take those ideas and create concept for a shoot and finally shoot that concept. Sometimes they work out better than expected and sometimes they fall flat on their face. One thing though that happens is we all have a fun time doing it.
I do not limit models to a set number of outfit changes or background changes. I will typically shoot until one of both of us are worn out. Every model will leave without having changed into half of what she brought or without trying all the ideas we talked about prior to shooting. The reason for that is not because I didn't let her have another change or the fact time ran out. It is because we got worn out before getting to those outfits or concepts. A typical shoot with me will last anywhere from 2-4 hours and the model will get 50 (no one yet has only gotten 50) to 300 images (web sized) and every one of those images will be touched up to make her or him look their very best. It can take up to three weeks before all of the images are processed and burned to a cd/dvd but you will be getting the images or links to the images as I get them done. Sometimes models have gotten a handful of finished images within a few hours of finishing the shoot.
Hopefully, if you have lasted this long reading all of this, you will have a pretty good idea of what to expect from shooting with me. I typically (and I stress the word typically) do not do tfp shoots but that is not to say I never do them, so don't be afraid to ask. My rates are extremely reasonable (many are shocked at how low my rates are). So whether you are looking to get your portfolio started or to add a different look to an already existing portfolio or you want to inquire on a tfp project that can benefit us both, I hope you take the time to consider me and drop me a line.
